T1551 is a novel, potent and specific PRMT5 inhibitor with IC50 of 34.1 uM, exhibits anti-proliferation on A549 cell with IC50 of 11.2 uM; reduces symmetric dimethylation level of H4R3, downregulates the protein expressions of two target genes of PRMT5, FGFR3, and eIF4E, and inhibits the activation of PI3K/AKT/mTOR and ERK signaling.
