Ivabradine hydrochloride, a new If inhibitor with IC 50 of 2.9 μM, which is a pure heart rate lowering agent.(In Vitro):Ivabradine hydrochloride (1, 10, 20 mg/kg; i.p.) shows anticonvulsant and neuroprotective action in mice.Ivabradine hydrochloride (5, 10, 20 mg/kg;p.o.; daily for 1 weeks) lowers heart rate in mice with enhanced sympathoadrenergic activities.
