Deoxylimonin is a triterpenoid isolated from grapefruit seeds.

Deoxylimonin (0-90 μg/mL, 48 h) treatment shows anti-proliferation activities to breast cancer cells. Cell Proliferation Assay Cell Line:MDA-MB-435 and MCF-7 cells Concentration:0-90 μg/mL Incubation Time:48 hours Result:Showed IC50 values of 0.78 μg/mL and 2.50 μg/mL for MDA-MB-435 and MCF-7 cells, respectively.

Deoxylimonin (oral administration; 70 mg/kg; once) treatment shows antinociception effects in vivo. Animal Model:Mice injected with acetic acid Dosage:70 mg/kg Administration:Oral administration; 70 mg/kg; once Result:Showed the antinociception efficacy (writhing inhibition rate: 24.61%).
