EG1, a novel specific inhibitor of Pax2 transcription activation, targets the DNA binding domain and inhibits embryonic kidney development.

Cell Viability Assay Cell Line:Pax2 positive: a renal cell carcinoma line (RCC111), two ovarian carcinoma cell lines (TOV112D and ES-2); Pax2 negative: prostate cell lines 22Rv1, PC3 or the ovarian cancer cell line SK-OV-3 Concentration:0, 12.5, 25 μM Incubation Time:48 hours Result:All Pax2 positive cells exhibited a significant decrease in cell viability, whereas none of the Pax2 negative cells were affected.
