Beclabuvir (BMS-791325) is a potent allosteric inhibitor of HCV NS5B polymerase with EC50 of 6 and 3 nM for genotype 1b and 1a in FRET assays, respectively; inhibits recombinant NS5B proteins from HCV genotypes 1, 3, 4, and 5 with IC50 of <30 nM; the combination of beclabuvir with asunaprevir and daclatasvir achieves very high rates of viral eradication (about 90%) in patients infected with HCV genotype 1 in clinical trials.HCV Infection Phase 1 Discontinued.
